The first time my husband and I met Kris, we had to strip half naked so she could tell us how to stand and how to touch each other, where to look and how to pose.......
But it was the most amazing experience with the most fantastic results.
We went to Kris so she could photograph us while I was 8 months pregnant.  You must understand that my husband is a very reserved and quiet man who doesn't let his guard down easily.  And I can't stand to see pictures of myself.  Kris made us so comfortable and even got my husband to smile.  (If you only knew what a chore it is for a stranger to get him to smile, we should have paid her double for that.)
I stare at this picture everyday and love it more each time I look at it. 
Then when my son was born, we again went to see Kris so she could photograph him.  My dad was along just to help me out, and once again, Kris worked her magic, told my dad to have a seat, and captured the most amazing pictures of both of them as well as Lucas by himself. 
Kris has this ability to just relax you and make you feel so comfortable.  I would recommend her to anyone and everyone.  She has the most amazing sense of humor and an energetic and contagious personality. 
Kris, don't ever put that camera down, your work is amazing and you photograph only the best parts and angles of people.

We want to take a minute to share the wonderful experience that we had working with Kris to take photos of our beautiful little baby girl. Not only was Kris so flexible and understanding of the new experiences that come with being a first time parent but she was amazing with our daughter who was a preemie. The pictures that she took are absolutely fantastic. We have received several compliments and can't go into the doctors office without a nurse commenting on how much they love our birth announcement that Kris created for us. Our family sat for a portrait with Kris last year.  Kris accommodated our busy schedule and was extremely patient with our very curious and busy 2 year old.  She really captured our daughter's personality with a classic portrait of her and her favorite stuffed animal.  She even made me comfortable enough to photograph me without a shirt!  It doesn't sound like a good picture, I know.  But it was!  In fact, many of the pictures Kris took will be treasured for years to come.  Kris managed to capture the love in our family on film and we will always be grateful for that.

It was one of the most amazing times we have ever experienced as a family.  First of all, we've never done a photo shoot or photo session.
